SecureSafe launches the password manager for companies and browser extension

SecureSafe now offers a password manager for companies allowing easy sharing of passwords and login data within groups. In addition, SecureSafe now also features a browser extension for automatic filling of login fields, allowing users to log in quickly and securely to websites, online shops or web applications directly via the browser.

Improved enterprise security with the password manager for companies

With SecureSafe, passwords can now be shared in a team password manager, simplifying collaboration and streamlining processes in case of absences. Moreover, company logins can be centrally managed, making employee onboarding and offboarding highly efficient. In addition to simplified password management, employees can also access a password generator, a password checker and the autofill function for automatic password filling. This better protects sensitive information and company data against unauthorised access.

Password management directly in the browser with the SecureSafe browser extension

More than one million people use SecureSafe to store their files and passwords. In addition to the DACH region, demand for SecureSafe is particularly high in the USA. In addition to the mobile, desktop and web apps, a browser extension is now also available, making password management even easier. The extension is currently available for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Brave – other browsers will follow.

Maximum security

SecureSafe stores all data in Switzerland and relies on two certified data centres that meet the requirements of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA. One of the data centres is located in a former military bunker in the Swiss mountains. In addition, various protection mechanisms are implemented directly in the architecture of the SecureSafe application. This ensures that personal data remains protected at all times. These security standards are the reason Mobiliar, Helvetia, the Zurich City Police, Treuhand Suisse, Alpiq, Kendris or Swissgrid, among others, all rely on SecureSafe.
