How can I activate and use the autofill function on an Android phone?
Activate autofill for Android
- Log in to your SecureSafe app on your Android phone.
- Go to “Settings”.
- Activate “Fingerprint Login”.
- Activate “Login without internet connection”.
- Activate “Autofill service”.
Use autofill for Android
- Open the app, which you want to log in to.
- Activate the username field and choose “Check within SecureSafe”.
- You are asked to verify your identity via Fingerprint.
- Select the saved password entry.
- Your username and password are automatically copied into the login fields.
Disclaimer:
You must have Android 9.0 or higher to use the autofill feature. Currently the feature is supported by a limited number of apps such as the Facebook and Twitter app. Amongst browsers, it is supported by Firefox Focus only. Please be aware that it is not up to SecureSafe but to the individual app / browser providers whether they support this feature or not.

- Loggen Sie sich in Ihren SecureSafe ein.
- Tippen Sie auf «Einstellungen».
- Aktivieren Sie «Login mit Fingerabdruck».
- Aktivieren Sie «Login ohne Internet-Verbindung».
- Aktivieren Sie «Autofill-Dienst».
Automatische Eingabe von Login-Daten (Autofill) für Android nutzen
- Öffnen Sie die App, in die Sie sich einloggen möchten.
- Tippen Sie auf das Eingabefeld «Benutzername».
- Es erscheint ein Dialogfeld: Wählen Sie «Im SecureSafe prüfen».
- Sie werden nun aufgefordert, mit Ihrem Fingerabdruck zu bestätigen.
- Wählen Sie den gespeicherten Passwort-Eintrag. Nun sollte der Benutzername und das Passwort automatisch in die Login-Felder kopiert werden.
Wichtig:
Sie müssen über Android 8.0 oder höher verfügen, um die Funktion zur automatischen Eingabe von Login-Daten (Autofill) zu nutzen. Derzeit wird die Funktion nur von einer begrenzten Anzahl von Apps wie der Facebook- und der Twitter-App unterstützt. Bei den Browsern wird sie nur von Firefox Focus unterstützt. Bitte beachten Sie, dass SecureSafe keinen Einfluss darauf hat, ob die einzelnen App-/Browser-Anbieter diese Funktion unterstützen oder nicht.
