Liechtenstein National Administration uses SecureSafe cloud storage for eGovernment strategy: data storage, data transfer, password manager.
The Liechtenstein National Administration (LLV) with its ministries, courts and diplomatic representations abroad is the most important authority of Europe's fourth smallest country. For this reason, security in data transmission and storage is a top priority. The decision was made in favour of SecureSafe's cloud storage because the exchange of data across organisational boundaries can be made flexible and uncomplicated, while the data is stored exclusively in Switzerland.
LLV uses over 500 Team Safes and appreciates their flexibility of use. For example, LLV uses Team Safes as topic-related "project safes", confidential "meeting safes" for agenda management and minutes, as well as to collaborate with foundations, commissions and expert advisory boards.
LLV employees manage their passwords with SecureSafe's manager. The integrated password generator improves the quality of passwords and thus the level of protection against access by unauthorised persons.
With SecureSafe, LLV employees can synchronise selected files and folders on their hard drive with SecureSafe digital safes. This means that all files are always up to date everywhere and protected against data loss.
SecureSafe's crypto-architecture was developed according to the zero-knowledge principle: All files and folders in the cloud storage are encrypted in such a way that even DSwiss has no way of reading the files.
