SecureSafe is used by the court to transmit confidential data about public court hearings to accredited journalists.
According to § 4 of the Ordinance of the Supreme Court on the Admission and Position of Court Reporters of 26th August 1988 (SHR 320.511), the Supreme Court and the Cantonal Court are obliged to duly inform the admitted court reporters of the dates of court sessions open to the media, including the names of the parties. The Supreme Court therefore needs an instrument to provide journalists with the lists of public hearings containing the full names of the parties involved, including defendants and plaintiffs.
