SecureSafe is used by the court to transmit confidential data about public court hearings to accredited journalists.
Initial situation
According to § 4 of the Ordinance of the Supreme Court on the Admission and Position of Court Reporters of 26th August 1988 (SHR 320.511), the Supreme Court and the Cantonal Court are obliged to duly inform the admitted court reporters of the dates of court sessions open to the media, including the names of the parties. The judiciary needs a secure tool to transmit lists of public hearings to journalists. These lists contain confidential data such as the full names of the parties involved (defendants and complainants).
