What are my responibilities?

SecureSafe is a highly secure Swiss online data storage featuring data inheritance, provided by the built-in DataInherit -function. A client of SecureSafe has designated you as one of his/her beneficiaries. Please follow these instructions for the successful implementation of data inheritance from the client to you.

 

The SecureSafe "Notice to the Beneficiaries"

You have in your possession the personal form “SecureSafe Notice to the Beneficiaries”, which you received from SecureSafe by means of a secure email or by registered mail. You will need the valid personal form to be entitled as a beneficiary to the data inheritance from the client.

 

What do I need to do to access the data?

You can access the data allocated to you as a beneficiary via the Internet at the following address:

https://www.securesafe.com/mylogin

To log in enter the user-name and password details supplied on your personal “SecureSafe Notification to the Beneficiaries” form.

 

What happens next?

After successfully entering your login details, you are immediately given access to your personal beneficiary account with SecureSafe. You have a 90-day period to download the data assigned to you onto your own computer free of charge.

 

Important points

  • Please carry out the data inheritance from the client to yourself as described above as soon as possible.
  • SecureSafe performs the data inheritance process precisely in the way the client has arranged and specified.
  • SecureSafe itself has no knowledge of the identity of the authorized activators and other beneficiaries.
  • SecureSafe can never view the stored data and has no knowledge of your accessing the data or your use of it thereafter.
